The newcomer A debut start in an England shirt. Slightly loose when playing out however his whipped deliveries were a threat. A useful game manager available to the boss to utilize versus teams who drop deep. Shown a yellow for a rash foul. 6

Declan Rice Deliveries from dead balls and free-kicks created chances. Was given freedom to roam down the left flank yet found himself in an offside position upon receiving with a chance to score. Given a well-earned substitution on the hour mark. Six

The star midfielder Operated in a high spot out wide while also contributed with defensive duties. Demonstrated glimpses of brilliance but mishit a shot over. Replaced late on for Rogers, his competition, after being booked. 7/10

The winger Was presented with the team's top opening in the opening period, his strike excellently kept out from the opposing goalkeeper. As a teammate holding position, it fell to him to provide width out wide although his balls from wide areas varied in quality. Replaced for the final quarter-hour. 6/10

Harry Kane The decisive figure netting seventy-seventh and seventy-eighth finishes for his country. The opener a trademark opportunist's goal while the second a superb finish with his head following a clever run from his marker. Aged 32, he’s only getting better and England have every chance in future competitions with him leading the line. 8
